Chocolate Hazelnut Biscotti (150g / 300g)
Biscotti are Italian twice-baked cookies. We make this biscotti with hazelnuts and 70% dark chocolate. A classic combination of flavours. This is one of our best seller!
As mentioned, these cookies are being baked two times. We put the prepared logs of biscotti dough in the oven for the first baking. Then leave the biscotti loaves to cool. Afterwards, they are being sliced and put into the oven again. The second baking is being done in low temperature for about an hour, this procedure is for removing almost all the moisture in the cookies without browning them. This long baking process give these cookies a special crunchiness. They go very well with hot coffee or tea and they make great snacks too!
We are using organic flour, organic cane sugar for our biscotti, which bring best flavour and best quality.
