Vegan Earl Grey and Nuts Biscotti (150g / 300g)
Biscotti are Italian twice-baked cookies. We make this plant based biscotti with earl grey tea leaves, brazil nuts and hazelnuts.
These cookies are being baked two times. We put logs of biscotti dough in the oven for the first baking. Then leave the biscotti loaves to cool. Afterwards, they are being sliced and put into the oven again. The second baking is being done in low temperature for about an hour, this procedure helps to remove almost all the moisture in the cookies without browning them. This long baking process makes these cookies a very exceptionally dry and crunchy. They go very well with hot coffee or tea, and they make great snacks too!
We are using organic flour, organic cane sugar, kosher salt, plant based butter, egg replacer for this plant based biscotti.
